Differences Should Never Define Your Potential
Age, gender, nationality, disability, and career background.
We believe that because everyone is different, there should be more than one way to work and build a career.
The opportunity to keep working even as life circumstances change.
The freedom to take the next step when you want to pursue a new challenge.
The ability to build on your experience and move forward without being limited by a path you once chose.
Creating an environment where everyone can make the most of their strengths is what supports our sustainable growth.
There’s More Than One Way to Work and Build a Career
As we continue through our careers, our lives, circumstances, and career goals naturally change.
- Balance Parenting and Work
- Take on a New Career Challenge
- Move from Part-Time to Full-Time Employment
- Return to Work After Leaving the Company
We offer a range of programs and opportunities to ensure that these changes do not become barriers to continuing work or taking on new challenges.
- Keep Working Creating an environment where people can continue working as their life stages and circumstances change.
- Expand Your Career Creating opportunities to take on new roles and develop new skills beyond your current position.
- Choose a New Path Whether through an internal transfer, rejoining the company, or changing employment status, you can pursue the career path that fits you best at each stage.
Keep Working
Creating an Environment Where Careers Can Continue Through Every Stage of Life
When a child is born, you may wonder whether you will be able to keep working as before—or whether you will be able to keep up when you return to work. Many people experience these concerns when their lives change.
In addition to childcare leave and reduced working hours, we offer flexible working hours that can be adjusted around childcare needs, such as drop-offs and pick-ups, as well as our own childcare center located close to the workplace. We value working together face-to-face as a team, so working from the office is our standard approach. At the same time, employees can switch to working from home when circumstances require it—for example, if a family member suddenly becomes ill or they have a medical appointment in the morning.
This flexibility ensures that employees do not have to choose between taking the entire day off and forcing themselves to come into the office.
Needing to change the way you work does not mean giving up on your career.
We believe that enabling people to make the most of their strengths and continue working, whatever their circumstances, is the foundation for a workplace where diverse talent can continue to thrive.

Advancing My Career While Raising Children
Being a Manager Doesn’t Mean Staying at the Office Until Everyone Else Leaves
After returning from childcare leave twice, I now work reduced hours and leave the office at 4:00 p.m. each day.
There were times when I had to leave unexpectedly after receiving a call from my child’s nursery, but I was trusted to manage my own workload, so I could adjust my schedule and make up the time on another day.
I had no hesitation when I was offered a managerial position. The habit I developed through parenting—thinking from another person’s perspective—has become a valuable strength in both management and my day-to-day work.
Expand Your Career
Your Current Role Doesn’t Define Your Entire Career
As you continue to grow in your career, you may find yourself thinking:
- I want to take on a different kind of work.
- I want to apply my experience in a new field.
- I want to develop new skills.
We create opportunities for each employee to expand their potential through internal job postings, our Career Design Office, talent management, reskilling programs, and training opportunities.
By building on the experience they have gained, employees can take on new challenges and explore new roles.
We aim to create an environment where everyone can look beyond their current position and shape the next stage of their career.

Transferred to the Glamping Business Through an Internal Job Posting
I Was Able to Make a Career Change Without Leaving the Company
I had always been interested in customer service, so when I saw the internal job posting, I decided to apply.
It was a completely different field from sales, and I struggled at first, but I enjoyed the process of learning through trial and error. At our glamping resort in Yamanakako Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, I learned how to manage a team by making the most of each member’s strengths. It felt like changing careers, but without having to start all over again with new relationships—which made it much easier to take that first step.
From 22 Years in Sales to a Second Career
If You Step Forward, You Can Take on New Challenges—Regardless of Age or Role
After 22 years in sales, I began to wonder whether it was time for a change, so I applied for a position in the glamping business.
Because the work is closely connected to people’s everyday needs and experiences, I get to hear our guests’ appreciation firsthand. The interpersonal skills I developed in sales have proven valuable in customer service, while I’ve also gained new skills in handling bad weather and unexpected situations.
Choose a New Path
There’s No Single Path for Your Career
The job you choose at the start of your career may not always be the right fit forever.
In fact, 96.3% of employees who joined us in 2025 were mid-career hires with experience at other companies.
And even after joining us, your career path can change. You don’t have to give up new possibilities simply because you once chose a particular path.
From part-time to full-time. From one business division to another. Or even leaving the company and returning later.
Whatever path you take, the experience you gain can help shape the next stage of your career.

From Part-Time to Full-Time Employment
If You’re Considering It, I’d Encourage You to Take the Leap
As I worked part-time, I gradually became capable of taking on more responsibilities, which made me want to play a bigger role in my work.
Since becoming a full-time employee, the scope of my responsibilities has expanded, and I’ve learned to think more about the people around me and the bigger picture when approaching my work.
Just as when I was working part-time, I’m surrounded by people who support one another whenever someone needs help, which gives me confidence and peace of mind at work.
Rejoining the Company After Leaving
What I Appreciate Most After Returning: The Work Environment and the People
After I left the company, my former manager reached out to me, which led me to return. I had no hesitation at all about coming back.
Today, I’m once again working in a management role. Having gained experience outside the company, I now make a point of bringing a more objective perspective alongside an internal one.
Coming back has reminded me of what makes VISION a great place to work: a supportive work environment, strong governance, and above all, its people.
Potential Isn’t Defined by Age or Background
Not by age, length of service, or whether a position is available. We focus on each person’s experience and abilities.
Have you ever given up on a challenge because you thought, “I’m too young,” “I’m too old,” or “It’s never been done before”?
We don’t determine roles or opportunities based solely on age, gender, nationality, or length of service.
What matters is each person’s experience, achievements, and capabilities. There is no fixed limit on the number of management positions, and employees have opportunities for promotion twice a year.
Advancing into Management as a Foreign National Employee
I Was Recognized for My Work and Achievements, Not My Nationality
I started in quality control and gradually expanded my responsibilities into development management and procurement management. Over time, I was also entrusted with solving problems and coordinating with related departments, and I now work in a management role. My understanding of business practices in both Japan and overseas has also become a strength when working with business partners.
I feel that I have been recognized for the work I have done and the results I have achieved, rather than my nationality.
Promoted to Management in My 20s
From Achieving My Own Results to Driving Results as a Team
As I built a track record in sales, I was given responsibility for everything from developing sales strategies to putting them into action. After moving into a management role in my 20s, my focus shifted from how I could achieve results on my own to how I could bring out the best in each team member and achieve results together.
I feel that ideas and strategies are valued regardless of age, and that people are trusted with responsibility based on what they can contribute.

Each Person’s Unique Perspective Creates Our Next Source of Value
Age, gender, nationality, stage of life, and the career path each person has taken—every one of these shapes their unique experience and strengths.
When people with different experiences and perspectives work together, those differences come together to create new ways of thinking, inspiring fresh ideas and new challenges.
Creating a Company Where Everyone Can Thrive in Their Own Way, Rather Than Working in the Same Way
We will continue to create an environment where diverse talent can thrive—by enabling people to keep working, expand their careers, and choose new paths as their goals and circumstances change.
